Old Man Winter Visits Yet Again.

This will begin my first post on this journal with www.scotthowell.ws being the main url. I finally decided that since my old resume website was outdated and of little use to me, I would just go ahead and link up my livejournal to it. Eventually I’ll fix some broken links here and there, but for the time being ScottHowell.ws is the new location for this blog. So, what’s been new with me? Well a few things. First and foremost, winter has come and overtaken us all here in Ohio in the past week. So bad, that I couldn’t even get into work the other day. Luckily though, the worst of it finally cleared up just in time for Valentine’s Day. I have to say it though, this was my first celebration of the Hallmark holiday in my 23+ years of existence 🙂 I surprised Lindsey with a dozen roses and candy while she was working at her client at Cardinal Health in Dublin. She also got me some fun goodies as well. About a year ago, I wondered where I’d be today. And it’s amazing how drastically a year can change your life after all. It was fun to be able to take part in the festivities of that day once and for all.

In other news, my job at Kimball Midwest is going quite well. Full time has been mentioned, just kind of waiting it out. I love the job, so I hope that’s the case. Money wise I’m doing a little better now and I’m not scrapping for change at the end of every two weeks.. so that’s good. On top of that, I got a heck of a lot of money in my tax returns this year and actually paid off one of my credit cards this weekend! It felt GREAT! So with that, I had found the best way to celebrate by inviting everyone over to my parents house last night to go sledding down our icy drive way. It was a blast! It was Lindsey and myself, Ryan, Bobby, Jessica, Nic, and Emily. Kind of sporadic, but it was a lot of fun. I’ll hopefully get up more pictures soon on my MySpace (which has been updated btw). That wasn’t the only fun to be had this weekend, as I saw Ghost Rider with Mike, Emily Toops, Josh, and Josh Enyart on Friday.

So, things have been going well. This weekend I’m headed to Georgia for my sister’s wedding blessing! Can’t wait. Well for now, that’s all I’ve got. It’s time to get to bed to start another week at work. Take care and Happy Winter while it lasts.
