Today started out simple enough, I woke barely up at 11:30 which gave me barely enough time to get to school for my last History and Law class for the semester. Finals are next week so I’ll have to start thinking at least by Sunday about studying for my Project Management and Web Site and Database Integration finals. Anyway I went home and saw Melissa from Youth Group sitting outside the coffee shop, the one I took home. So I rolled down my window and told her Hi and she said “You’re hot”. Well great, now a 7th grader in the youth group I’m helping run has a crush on me. Hehe. Maybe someday a girl in “my grade” will feel the same. When I first got home today I printed out a guide for the Konquest Adventure in MK: Deception, and played that for a few hours. Tonight was spent at the coffee shop actually at around 8. Emily Huth, Nic’s girlfriend, was singing. She really did a great job. Not only is she a great singer, but she wrote some pretty awesome music, and her own lyrics to add to it. I would have to say I was impressed.
Josh, Mike, and Emily were there as well, and I joked to Josh about some things. I later revisited Josh and we went to Blockbuster and rented Man on Fire, but by the time we got back to his place, he got pretty tired, so I went home and watched it here. I told him before I left knowing me I wouldn’t get to bed before 3:30 am. So I’m about on schedule. Speaking of schedules, I have one morning class at 8 am. I can’t wait to see how that will turn out. It’s with Prof. Mark Keller, who I just had for Science, we all like him a lot and since everyone else was switching to him in the morning for Humanities next trimester, I really had no choice, other than being in class next term without any of my friends. Maybe there will be some CIS students. Also, I’m taking an Economics coarse in the evening one day at 6-9 PM. So I’m really going to be all over the place. I’ve never took an evening class before at DeVry, so that will be something to see how that turns out as well. Mayling told me her, Matt, and Mike are going to OSU on Thursday to find out about the MBA program. I told her I’d go before I realized I’m going to be working that morning, since I already requested it when I realized I’d be done with finals by then. So I probably won’t be able to go, but hopefully they’ll give me some information. It’s weird that we’re even talking about getting our masters when most people are age are only half way done with school. I’m not sure if I want to jump right back into things though when I graduate in June. I’m going to give it all I got to maybe get a job at Midway in Chicago once I graduate, but maybe if that doesn’t work out, I will get my masters sooner like the rest of my friends at school. But right now it’s too early to tell. I don’t want to start thinking that much ahead just yet.
Oh and thanks for Josh for reminding me sweetest day is tomorrow. Now I have something to be depressed about :-/
Heh, don’t worry I’m alright. 🙂
