Today was Kandace and Heath’s wedding. It’s been a long time since that band competition where Heath made the move on Kandace, and I bet Heath $5 it would never last. Since graduation from High School this would be the second time a friend of mine has gotten married. Kandace’s wedding was pretty nice, it was an outside wedding so, lucky for them, the weather stayed decent. Josh was pretty much my date, heh. We picked Emily up and took her up there for Nic since he was a groomsmen. When Holly’s mom looked at me and asked “Who’s next” (As in who’s getting married next), that was a quick shake of the head no. I’d imagine my wedding won’t be for another five years or more at this rate. Not that I’m complaining. I don’t want to get married anytime soon. I’m going to be happy if I just get a girlfriend, trust me. By the time I start dating somebody, which I don’t expect anytime soon, I’d at least want it to be at least a year before I’d probably think about marriage.
It’s weird though… 🙂 Think about this, I only have ten months of college left! This part of my life is almost over. As nervous as I am about graduating and moving on to the real world a lot earlier than my friends, I’m starting to get excited. I’m hoping that will be a chance to just enjoy a real job, make some good money, and hopefully make some new friends and get a chance to do new things. In less then a year I won’t be working at Wendy’s anymore. I’ll be living a life, can’t wait.
Speaking of college it’s the same thing it always is. Took the first test of the semester last week in Law. I actually think I might have pulled off an A or B. And that wasn’t an easy test. The hardest class this trimester will be Project Management only because we have a group project and that takes a lot of time out of your schedule. We can’t think of a subject to do our case study on though. I really don’t care, other then I want to get an A or B, so I do good in the class, but I’m really getting sick and tired of these group projects. Heh, in just two terms I’ll be finally doing Senior Project. Oh God, the dreaded Senior Project.
I watched the Democratic National Convention last week. Why? Because it makes me laugh. John Kerry is an idiot. Sorry, I probably just pissed somebody off. Oh well.
