Everything, Everyone, Everywhere, Ends.

A short post for tonight as its getting late. I just have to make a quick statement about one of the shows I finished watching tonight via my subscription to Netflix. The show was Six Feet Under which was an HBO original series that ran from 2001 to 2005. The show centers around a dysfunctional family who runs a funeral home in Los Angeles. To just give you an idea of how great the show is, I actually cried like a baby during the last few minutes of the show’s final episode. My sister who suggested I watch the show in the first place warned me that I would end up crying. I never cry during movies or any television shows, but this one was just too much! Just when I thought it wasn’t going to hit me.. they pulled the best ending I have ever seen from a television show. I literary broke down and cried for a good 5 minutes after the show was over. The reason I believe the ending hit me so hard, was because after watching this show for the past six months or so, I became so connected to all of the characters. The show itself revolves around life and death and it really opened up a lot of emotions because of that. Realize that life is short. Don’t always try to be something or be someone. Just be. That was one of the morals of this show.

Anyway, I’m tired and I’m not making much sense, but please, if you are ever going to waste time and watch a good TV series, let it be Six Feet Under. It’s incredible once you get past the homosexual plot lines, vulgar language, and touchy controversial issues. That’s all I got for tonight. I just got done playing Command & Conquer: Red Alert 2 on line with all of my roommates. (CCShadow would be proud!) I got a long day ahead of me at work. I hope it goes fast. Good night!
