It’s the day after Thanksgiving and Carrie and my three nephews and niece (Cole, Chloe, Jared, and Jacob) are all here spending the holiday over at the Howell household. We just got back from some old house in Lancaster that was doing special activities like coloring, finger puppets, caricatures, and Santa Claus. All for the kids of coarse. It’s incredibly cold outside and I’m tired from all of the chaos so I’m just kind of quietly hanging out in my room as I catch you up on what I’ve been up to since earlier in the month. Since my last post, I was sick and I’ve been over that, but I’m now getting over a really sore throat that I had earlier this week. Actually to be honest, it’s the best it has felt this week so all of the medicine must be finally working. Which is a good thing, as tomorrow I’m driving with Carrie and her first three kids back to their step dad’s in North Carolina tomorrow. I really didn’t want to be sick during all of that. Anyway, in case you care as I’m sure whoever is reading this does… it does in fact look like I’ve secured the job at Steak n Shake. Last Saturday instead of watching the great OSU vs. Michigan game I taped, I shadowed a General Manager over there for 10 hours. Don’t laugh, as it wasn’t really bad at all and I kind of enjoyed myself to be honest. The atmosphere is so much better than Wendy’s. It is a real job I’m getting with good pay, so I can’t wait to get things rolling and put my two weeks in to Wendy’s. This time for real! I am finally getting a real job…. Whoohoo. Other than that, all is normal. Today’s Black Friday and I’m trying to figure out what to get everyone for Christmas this year. I have a bunch of damn bills I gotta pay off this month too including car insurance so that doesn’t help much. One of the things that is painfully coming up at the current time is my scotthowell.ws domain name. I need to renew it. However, I don’t feel like doing another private registration through Domains by Proxy. I don’t care anymore if people can see where I live.. If you really really have to mail me a letter or something, fine.. do so. Just make sure you send money. I wanted to go ahead and register the domain as of yesterday, however I need to log into my Domains by Proxy account prior to renewing through GoDaddy or they will charge me for the private renewal as well. Problem is, I don’t remember my password and I can’t reset it as they have my old college email on file. I’m trying to work that out, so I sent them an email last night. I can’t check it now to see if they replied however as Scott Bishop is busy upgrading the server. No worries.
