Well, I said I was taking a break from here and I wasn’t kidding. I basically took a whole semester off from posting on here as I can see from just three posts below back in November. That term is now over and ironically I’ve started today my sixth semester at DeVry. Credit wise I’m now a Junior, its exciting I guess, but I don’t feel any different. I could lie and say a lot has changed since last November, but all and all nothing too much is different. My website changed its name, as reflected at the top of this site, and I’m getting ready for my trip to Los Angeles in May for the Electronic Entertainment Expo. Very excited about that. Here’s a quick run down of any life changing events I can remember in the last few months…
- My sister is going through a divorce soon.. I never talked about it in this journal before, because I wasn’t comfortable talking about it.. but its really old news now. No need to go into details.. but she’s doing very well right now, and is dating a really cool guy named Chris who I got to meet over Christmas Break. I like him a lot! We seemed to connect right off the bat, and honestly that felt good because I never felt like I had any type of close relationship with my current.. soon to be ex brother-n-law.
- My dear friend Bobby D.. has since now been sent out to fight the War in Iraq. He just got there, please keep him in your thoughts and prayers. We’ll see you in a year buddy!
- Several people have told me I look older now. Ha. Thanks
- Still single, but what do you call it playing the field? A few months ago I actually got enough nerve to get a girls number… Then I found out she was only 17, so I didn’t really go after her.. yet I keep running into her, and she’s like begging me to call her. I’m an ass.
- I’m proud to say each day I’m becoming much more relaxed around people in general, and have stopped worrying so much about what people think of me. I am my own person, I’m proud of that. For the past few months, me and Nic have become regulars at Harvest Moon and have made some new friends including Ryan.. who taken us “blotting”.. Yes, it’s great.. you have to come blotting with us ;-). So far myself, Nic, and Emily have all joined the Blotting Club.. who will be next?
- I feel really shitty for not going to church in like a year.. yet after I saw Passion of Christ, probably one of the best movies I’ve ever seen, here I am actually being the Catholic that I am, participating in Lent. I gave up pop, and I’ve actually stuck to it so far.
That’s about it. I’m sure there is something I’m forgetting, but those are the major points. I’m going to start updating again, because I miss writing and hey I like to entertain you people. Continue to comment away, because if you don’t I’ll think nobody bothers reading this journal.
