Hello Friends and Family! This is Lindsey.
One of the biggest challenges of our adoption, and one of the reasons most people don’t adopt, is finances. Most international adoptions can cost over $30,000. This is where YOU can make a difference! We have two special fundraisers going on right now and we’d like to ask you to join us in our adoption journey by participating in one or both of them.
Flower Bulb Sales
Are you in th e process of planning your garden or landscape? Or have you been jealously watching your neighbor’s daffodils and tulips spring up and start blooming? We have a brochure full of colorful bulbs that will bloom into beautiful flowers. The brochure also includes a hanging strawberry plant and a hanging cherry tomato plant. Orders should be placed by April 16th and you can email them to scott@scotthowell.ws or linbin28@yahoo.com or by phone at 614-302-3679. The bulbs will be delivered in the beginning of May and we will hand deliver any orders from the Central Ohio area and any orders from the Indianapolis/Rensselaer area. If you live outside of these areas, we just ask that you add a $5 shipping fee to your order. There is no sales tax.
Running with a Purpose

On May 8th, 2010 Lindsey will be running a half marathon in Indianapolis, Indiana. We would like to dedicate this race to our soon-to-be adopted child. In order to do this, we are looking for a sponsorship of $100 for every mile of the race. Each mile can be a combination of sponsors of different amounts (we can match up sponsors), or one sponsor in total.
